After School Enrichment Program
An enrichment program is offered for Elementary and Junior High students who are enrolled in the All Day Program Option (7.30 - 5.30). It is our goal to continually enhance and broaden the scope of this program to bring them in line with our school motto, “Where Mind and Spirit Go Hand in Hand”. To that end, our enrichment program focuses on developing students mentally, spiritually and physically.
Programs vary per semester and year. A cross section of programs offered include: aikido, art, drama, biking, yoga, adventures in engineering and science and French enrichment.
Programs are also open to students who are not registered in the All Day Program Option but may be interested in participating, pending availability.

- Term 3: TBD
After School Routine:
- Snack Time: 3.30 p.m. - 4.00 p.m.
- Program Time: 4.00 p.m. - 5.00 p.m.
- Quiet Time/Reading Time: 5.00 p.m. - 5.30 p.m.
Children who need occasional day care stay in a quiet room where they play games like chess, gear factory, monopoly, draw, read, and/or do their homework.
Yoga, drama, art, aikido, and various fitness offerings take centre stage during the After-School Enrichment Program. Elementary and Junior High students who are enrolled in our all-day program (7:30-5:30) are automatically enrolled in this program. This is an opportunity for BHMS to provide additional educational and recreational programs that typically are in line with the extracurricular activities in which students often enrol. Many of these enrichment programs are outsourced to experts in their respective fields. The schedule is typically rotated three times per academic year. In addition to full-day students, enrolment in these programs are typically opened to the wider school community based on space. Calendars and enrolment space is released several weeks prior to the beginning of each After-School Enrichment Program session.
