Charitable Giving

As “citizens of the world”, Bishop Hamilton Montessori School students are very involved in community giving. They raise funds for UNICEF, The Ottawa Hospital Foundation, the Ottawa Food Bank, The Tsunami Relief Fund, and we sponsor a family in India.

In addition, we are twinned with an impoverished school in Mahlekefane, Lesotho. Help Lesotho, founded in 2004, develops all projects in Lesotho. This effort is led by Peg Herbert who is one of 52 women nominated for a YMCA-YWCA Women of Distinction Award. Peg is the winner of the Business, Professions & Public Sector Award.
